Our speaker for March will be Catherine J. Frompovich. Author of: A Cancer Answer – Holistic Breast Cancer Management: A Guide to Effective & Non-Toxic Treatments. She will be discussing "Diets" Impact on Cancer: Prevention and Cure.
Catherine matriculated in holistic modalities and natural nutrition. She has advanced degrees in Nutrition and Holistic Health Sciences and a Certification in Orthomolecular Theory and Practice.

Thanks to everyone for making our first meeting a huge success!
February's meeting topic will be "Acupuncture for Better Breast Health" - Presented by Sheri Krauss, Licensed Acupuncturist with Lourdes Wellness Center. Chinese medicine treats the whole person rather than the disease, focusing on cultivating a balanced life. In cancer care, Chinese medicine uses natural means to reduce chemotherapy induced nausea, decrease pain, support immune function and enhance quality of life. Self-care tools will be discussed.

We are pleased to announce that this Saturday, January 26th at 6:30 pm, Dr. Getson will be speaking on the many benefits of thermography at a free ladies breast lecture. Also, Myra, of the Wellness Center, will be demonstrating breast exercises, how to detoxify the breast and the 'do's and dont's' of good breast health. Please join us for an evening of enlightenment, light refreshment and fellowship.

The first meeting topic will be "The use of Thermography for breast health early risk assessment". Thermography uses state of the art, FDA approved infra-red technology to detect physiologic changes in the breast tissue at a cellular level. This is a totally safe, non-radiologic, painless screening tool. This provides the earliest possible information of breast function to allow for the earliest possible intervention.
