Dr. Philip Getson

Philip Getson, D.O. is a board certified family physician in practice for 35 years in New Jersey. He is an internationally recognized expert in the diagnosis and treatment of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and has lectured extensively on the subject.
He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Neurology at Drexel University Hospital in Philadelphia.
He is a Board Certified Thermologist and has reviewed more than 10,000 Thermographic Studies of the breast, thyroid and neuromuscular system. He has been certified by four Thermographic Boards and has lectured internationally regarding Thermographic Testing, and has authored several papers on the subject. In addition, he has recently been appointed to the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Thermology.
He currently serves as the medical liaison to the New Jersey Department of Health to implement the governor's bill for RSD Awareness and will be responsible for conducting educational lectures on the subject and has lectured extensively on the subject locally, nationally and internationally.
